Bailment Contract Inspection of Goods


1. Parties. [Name] of [address] (Bailee) and [name] of [address] (Bailor) enter into this Agreement for the bailment of goods.

2. Subject Matter of Bailment. The following goods: [description] are to be bailed to Bailee so that Bailee may inspect them.

3. Title. The title to these goods shall at all times remain with Bailor. The goods shall be returned to Bailor upon written demand. Such demand shall be sent by certified mail to Bailee at the address noted in this Agreement.

4. Conditions of Bailment. Bailee is to use due care in maintaining the goods bailed to him. This Agreement is not a sale or extension of credit to Bailee on the part of Bailor. Bailee may not transfer these goods to any other party without the express written permission of Bailor.

5. Risk of Loss. Bailee, by taking possession of these goods, assumes the risk of loss or any damage to them, whether caused by Bailee or a third party.
